Two Individuals Accused Regarding Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Attack
Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a suitcase robbery where a believed to be capsaicin spray caused injuries at the UK's busiest airport.
Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two robbery charges and charges for deploying a toxic agent, as confirmed by court officials.
This legal action stems from an probe of an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their suitcases taken after exiting a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.
A three-year-old girl was one of the people hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to a medical facility and were eventually allowed to go home.
The incident – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not being treated as terrorism – resulted in train delays and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a limited duration.
